Hi Nikki!
I’d like to give a huge big tick to both the Vegan Chocolate Pie, and Vegan Vanilla and Walnut Cookies.
Both recipes are superb!!! And most importantly, very easy to make when you have step by step instructions with pictures.
Thanks very much for providing this resource for all us wannabe Vegan Foodies!
Hi Nikki,
This is Amy’s sister here. Thank you for all of the wonderful recipes! I just made the raw vegan raspberry ganache fudge cake for mum’s birthday. It was a show stealer! Everyone wasblown away by it, and we come from a carnivorous family, so it was cool to show them that being vegan is easy. It certainly shut up the critics.
I also made the raw vegan rum balls for my colleagues this week, and they were loving them! I work in the disability sector in an agency specialising in inclusion for people with disabilities. I have invented the label ‘Inclusive Food’ to describe my new-found veganism and the food I bring to share. My boss asked what I meant by this term, and I explained that this is the type of food that everyone can eat. My office loves a buzz word, so when I brought out the rumballs, they were all making jokes about how much they love ‘inclusive balls’! It was a bit of fun on a Friday.
So, I would like to thank you Nikki, my dearest sister’s friend, for making my transition into veganism so easy, and for inspiring my sister who inspired me. Who said one vegan couldn’t change the world? You have already changed the lives of so many.
Thank you!
Wow, thank you Jo for your wonderful message! It made my day! It’s so amazing to hear that Amy is already inspiring so many people to make such a valuable change in their lives. I love the idea of ‘inclusive food’, if only there was labelling like that in the world! Shopping would be a dream!
Thanks for the feedback on the recipes as well and for taking the time to come and comment, it’s great for other readers to see which recipes have been tried and tested outside my little kitchen.
Also, If you and Marcus come up with a delicious vegan recipe that you would like to share I’d love for you to send me the recipe and some photos and we can post it on the website, the more resources that we can make available here the better!
Thanks again Jo, for your message, it brightened up my day (which is great considering we are in the midst of a flood here!). Be sure to give that beautiful sister of yours a hug for me next time you see her. x
